Proxxon 34104 Mill/ Drill Head PF 230, 1.38 X 15.75-Inches
The Proxxon mill/drill head PF230 allows you to convert your Proxxon lathe PD250/E (model 34004) into a versatile machining center. The PF230 mill/drill head comes equipped with a substantial column measuring 1-3/8" x 15-3/4" (35 x 400mm), including the necessary mounting bracket and bolts for easy attachment to the lathe.
Once installed, the lathe's top slide is replaced with the table provided as part of the PF230 kit. This table offers a generous work surface of 4-5/16" x 2-3/4" (110 x 70mm), featuring three T-slots measuring 15/32" x 15/64" x 15/64" (12 x 6 x 6mm). The transformation is now complete, with the lathe functioning as a compound table, enabling longitudinal and cross-wise X-Y travel for precision machining.
To further enhance the capabilities of this converted machining center, three collets are included, accommodating a range of tool shank sizes from 15/64" to 5/16" and 25/64" (6, 8, 10mm).
Powering this versatile setup is a 110-120V, 60Hz motor delivering 140W (0.1877hp) of power. The mill/drill head offers a selection of speeds, ranging from 280 to 2,200rpm in six distinct settings: 280, 550, 870, 1,200, 1,500, and 2,200rpm.
