Proxxon #24046 Universal Dividing Attachment for Hobbyists
The dividing attachment is designed for accurate machining of circular work pieces, such as sprockets, gears, ratchets, and cams. It is intended for use on PROXXON milling machines, specifically the FF 230 model.
The dividing attachment features a worm drive that enables divisions through 360 degrees. The feed adjustment is controlled by a handwheel with a graduated, zero-adjustable dial, where one revolution equals 10 degrees.
The attachment can be fixed horizontally or vertically, and it is compatible with compound tables that have a distance between T-slots ranging from 45 to 60 mm. The flange of the dividing attachment is the same size as the main spindle of the PD 250/E lathe, allowing the use of a 3-jaw chuck (NO 24 034) and a 4-jaw chuck (NO 24 036).
The scope of delivery includes a faceplate with a diameter of 100 mm, a step clamp set made of steel (two each of step blocks and clamps), as well as matching T-nuts, threaded rods, and nuts. The entire assembly is packed in a wooden box.
