EVA is an industrial grade super strong material that is pliable yet has memory. It is incredibly durable, firm and has a closed-cell technology that will not shed or bleed color. Less rigid than hard plastic, EVA absorbs vibration and will give before it mars wood. As kickback occurs, the EVA feather moves back and pinches the wood against the fence, absorbing kickback forces until the living hinge stops it at its furthest extension. This virtually arrests kickback, protecting the user from harm. In fact, the FeatherPRO has 5 times greater kickback resistance compared to plastic or wood feathers.

If the EVA feathers accidentally contact a blade or router bit, they simply cut through without a violent reaction, and will not harm the cutter. The feathers are also reversible, replaceable, and interchangeable, allowing users to switch between Standard and UltraFLEX Feathers. Additionally, EVA will not set off Saw Stop, absorb fluid, bleed color, or shed material.

The FeatherPRO also features Bow Products' patented AnchorPRO miter hardware, offering fast expansion and a super strong hold in the miter slot. It uses a T Bolt as the expansion bolt in the miter bar, and can also be mounted to T Tracks using 1 1/2" T Bolts. Comfortable ergonomic knobs provide easy adjustment.
